Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company is more than just a place to get a good beer and a bite to eat. It is a place where people can come together and connect with their community. Whether you are a local resident or just passing through, Rapp’s Barren is sure to make you feel welcome.
We love featuring local and regional musicians, and we are always looking for new talent to join our lineup of live music offerings. People who are interested in playing at one of our Rapp’s Barren locations should submit an electronic press kit (EPK) or links to their music to music@rappsbarrenbrewing.com OR fill out the form. Only submissions with the following information included will be considered:

Ales & Tales is our monthly literary gathering in partnership with the Baxter County Library Foundation. Each month features live readings from selected short stories or novel excerpts, paired with good conversation and craft beer.
Arrive early to enjoy dinner and a pint before the reading begins.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds supports the Baxter County Library Foundation and their work in our community.

Hailing from Parachute, Colorado, Jay Kellebrew brings a soulful blend of Red Dirt and country roots to the Rapp’s stage.
A lifelong lover of music, Jay grew up singing along to George Strait and Garth Brooks — inspired by his father, a classic rock musician who once opened for Rod Stewart. After serving with the Navy Seabees and navigating life’s twists and turns, Jay found healing and purpose in songwriting.
Now working toward his debut single, “Home is Where You Are,” set for release in 2025, Jay’s music reminds us that home isn’t a place — it’s the people we love.
